As a child, Tom already wondered why one landscape feels pleasant and another doesn’t. Through studies at Van Hall Larenstein and Wageningen, he learned to decode landscapes. Today, he sketches future visions for well-functioning environments for people, plants and animals. He zooms in on how nature restoration, climate adaptation, agriculture, recreation and housing will shape tomorrow’s landscapes.
